Student Living

Utica University offers limited summer housing for eligible students who need to remain on campus between the end of the spring semester and the start of the fall semester. Summer housing is designed to support students participating in academic courses, internships, employment, athletics, or other approved situations. Community expectations remain in effect under the Student Code of Conduct and the Residential Student Handbook.
Summer housing operates differently than the academic year. Please review all information carefully before applying.
Summer residents will be housed in Tower Hall. Assignments will differ from your academic-year space. Students should be prepared to relocate approximately one to two weeks after the end of the spring semester. Students should plan to be on campus and available to move these two weeks, do not plan a major trip away from campus.
Summer residents not continuing to live on campus for the fall term will need to move out prior to August 1, 2026.
Summer residents will move to their fall room assignments on or around August 3- August 10. Students should plan to be on campus and available to move these two weeks, do not plan a major trip away from campus. At this time, students will need to be in good financial standing for the fall semester before being able to move to their fall room assignment.
Roommate requests may be considered but are not guaranteed.
Summer housing is billed at a weekly rate of $290 per week for a single room or $220 per week for a double room (with a roommate).
