Film: Nothing But A Man (1964, dir. Michael Roemer, USA, 91 minutes)
This unflinching examination of life in the segregated south during the early-1960s explores the complex story of a Black railroad worker who battles oppression and his own personal dilemmas while trying to maintain his dignity. Dr. Clemmie Harris, Associate Professor of History, will deliver a short talk before the screening and participate in a Q&A session afterwards.
