Dr. Tyler Kallasy ’15, PT, DPT, CSCS, PPSC

Dr. Tyler Kallasy is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Performance Coach, writer, and educator who helps active adults and athletes move beyond pain and return to the training and lifestyle they love.

Utica University is thrilled to welcome back Dr. Tyler Kallasy ’15, PT, DPT, CSCS, PPSC as commencement speaker for the 2025 Graduate Commencement ceremony on May 9 at the Adirondack Bank Center in downtown Utica.

Utica University's graduate programs prepare professionals to meet the present and future challenges posed by the increasing complexity of our global society and to assume the leadership roles necessary to guide their organizations through the ever-changing information and technology age.

Dr. Tyler Kallasy is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Performance Coach, writer, and educator who helps active adults and athletes move beyond pain and return to the training and lifestyle they love. He is the founder of, Beyond Pain--a personalized coaching approach that blends rehab & training principles with mindset and lifestyle support to create lasting results without setbacks.

Tyler earned his Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences in 2015 and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2018 from Utica. Since then, he has dedicated his career to helping everyday athletes break free from the cycle of chronic pain and rebuild a life of strength, resilience, and movement freedom.

He also travels the country as an educator for the Pain-Free Performance Specialist Certification, where he teaches coaches and clinicians how to blend pain-free training with performance strategies. His mission is to empower others to train hard, move well, and stay resilient for life.

Outside of work, Tyler enjoys exploring the Colorado mountains with his fiancé, Courtney, and their two dogs.
