Utica University Welcomes 94 More International Students This Fall, Reflecting Tremendous Program Growth

Utica University is thrilled to welcome 94 new international students to campus for the Fall 2024 semester. The University now has more than 200 international students enrolled, a demonstration of tremendous program growth over the years.
The current countries represented include Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bermuda, Canada, Czech Republic, Ghana, Hong Kong, India, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Myanmar, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Thailand, and the United Kingdom.
“We are tremendously pleased to welcome such a talented and diverse group of international students to Utica University,” said Elizabeth Nassar, Director of the Academic Business Development.
Undergraduate majors include Accelerated Nursing (ABSN), Biochemistry, Communication and Media, Computer Science, Construction, Criminal Justice, Economics, Health Sciences, Management, Nursing, Biology, and Psychology. Of the 20 new undergraduate students, 11 are women and 9 are men, with an average age of 22.
Current graduate programs include Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Childhood Education, and Master of Business Administration (MBA).
The average age among the international graduate students is 26, plus five years of work experience. Graduate students also come from various professional backgrounds, including three medical doctors, entrepreneurs, and employees from many global organizations.
